We train aspiring special education faculty in evidence-based practice.

The University of Arizona Special Education Program prepares doctoral students to become successful faculty in higher education.

Our three fellowships for Fall 2017 have already been awarded.

We will be offering full fellowship support packages to two additional outstanding doctoral applicants in Fall 2018.

Through an apprenticeship model, our doctoral students develop the research, personnel preparation, and professional skills needed for a productive career in higher education. Read more about our doctoral program and procedures in our Guide to Doctoral Study.

Graduates are currently in faculty positions throughout the U. S. and the world.
